Happy Healthy Holidays

There are loads of fun activities happening this Summer as part of the WF Happy Healthy Holidays programme. There are free places available for any children and young people (aged 5-16) who are eligible for income based free school meals. This opportunity is provided as part of the government’s expanded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

What Activities are Available?

How Can I Book a Place?

If your child is eligible for Income Based Free School Meals please visit:

https://www.wakefieldfamiliestogether.co.uk/community-support/happy-healthy-holidays/

You will find a link to the booking site, which went live on Monday 3rd July. Please do check back as new activities / places may be added over the coming days.

If you do not have access to the internet, a valid email address or a smartphone please contact the academy, who can provide information on the activities running in your area and will be able to provide contact information so you can contact the provider directly and they can make the booking(s) on your behalf.

If your child requires extra support due to SEND needs or any other, please have a conversation with the provider in the first instance to ensure that they are able to support your child’s needs at the session.

The Accord Multi Academy Trust is an educational charity established in September 2016 that is currently made up of four academies who were the founding members of the Trust. In September 2016 Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Sixth Form College came together, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy.

The overarching vision for the Trust is to work in one ‘Accord – celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be.
