Academy Kitchen Provision

The Academy operates a split lunchtime provision as follows:

12.15-12.45     –          Year 8, Year 10 and Post 16

12.45-13.15     –          Year 7 and Year 9

13.15-13.45     –          Year 11

Main Academy Dining Halls

Freshly prepared hot and cold meals and snacks are available in the main academy dining halls, including hot meals, jacket potatoes, paninis, pasta pots, sandwiches, confectionery and drinks.

A range of hot snacks, confectionary and drinks are also available at morning break time.

 

Menu and Price List

Meal deals are on offer for just £2.40.

We also support the use of reusable bottles and, as such, have installed additional water fountains across the academy.

Allergy information

  • Gluten-free options are available on request in the academy kitchen (e.g. wraps, jacket potatoes, pasta) – students should speak with the kitchen staff at morning break if they have a request for lunch that day.
  • Nuts are not used in the academy kitchen as a general rule; however, we cannot guarantee that purchased products have been produced in an environment free from traces of nuts.

Cashless fingerprint system

The academy kitchen operates a cashless fingerprint system run through the online system Scopay. Parents can set up a Scopay account online and top up from home using a credit/debit card.

To request a link to set up the Scopay account please contact finance@ossett.accordmat.org. Parents can access updates on spend and balances on this system.

A debit balance of no greater than £10 is permitted, parents/carers will receive texts and/or letters to prompt payment if debit balances reach £10 or more.  Services may be withdrawn until the debit is cleared.

Accord Sixth Form - Post 16

The Accord Sixth Form Common room offers a range of cash vending facilities for snacks, sandwiches and hot or cold drinks.

The Accord Multi Academy Trust is an educational charity established in September 2016 that is currently made up of four academies who were the founding members of the Trust. In September 2016 Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Sixth Form College came together, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy.

The overarching vision for the Trust is to work in one ‘Accord – celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be.
